ASTM A312 Tp316 Material Properties are mechanically superior to 304 piping products. The addition of molybdenum in the composition makes the material stronger and more corrosion-resistant. ASTM A312 Grade Tp316 is an austenitic stainless steel designed for high accuracy systems and is available in round, rectangular, square, or hexagonal shapes.
Type 316/316L stainless steel pipes are intended for applications requiring high strength, toughness, and enhanced corrosion resistance. Compared to 304 stainless steel, this alloy contains a higher percentage of molybdenum and nickel, significantly improving performance in harsh environments.
